Terms of service

These terms of service set out the conditions for accessing and using the CycloDate service.

1. Acceptance of the terms

Using the service implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms of service. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the service.

2. Description of the service

CycloDate is a free tool for organising group bike rides: route, weather along the route and a poll on the dates.

3. Ride links

No account is required. Anyone with the link to a ride can view it and vote. The management link gives control of the ride: the organiser is responsible for keeping it confidential.

4. Free service and weather data

The service is free. Forecasts come from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0 licence) and the route summary is written by an AI: these are decision-making aids, with no guarantee. Each cyclist remains responsible for their own safety.
